The Animal Pad: The Animal Pad is an all-breed dog rescue based in San Diego. The Animal Pad was founded in 2010 when they saw a dire need for help and reform in the Southern California shelter system, particularly in San Bernardino City and Devore Shelters. These shelters were euthanizing at extremely high rates. In about 2014, their attention was turned to the street dogs of Mexico. There is little to no rescue help in Mexico, and considering they are a border town, where they knew they could make a huge difference there. They now rescue primarily from Tijuana and Ensenada, where we are the sole rescue support for a no-kill shelter (the only of its kind). They bring the dogs to the States, get them immediately to their vet teams, rehabilitate them in whatever ways needed, place them into loving foster homes, and work toward getting these deserving dogs adopted into the most pawfect-for-them furrever homes! The Animal Pad is a 501c3 non-profit, which is 100% volunteer, donation, and foster-based.

Animal Centers Of NYC: Individuals from all over New York City come to Animal Care Centers every day of the week for reasons as diverse as reclaiming lost pets, adopting new furry family members and getting resources to help them keep their pets in homes. They strive to find loving homes for homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, and rabbits, both by adopting animals directly to the public and by partnering with more than 200 dedicated animal placement organizations (our New Hope partners). The field services division responds to calls from the public to help keep NYC communities safe and rescue animals in need, and we have facilities in all five boroughs. Join us in our mission to end animal homelessness in NYC!
